Intro

Verto's Health Services Hub is a health services directory application with API integration capabilities for contributors that want to modify the contents of the directory and consumers that want to access the directory data.

Data Model

The Health Services Hub uses FHIR R5 to provide a standard interface to access data. The following models are used:

• HealthcareService - represents a service offering
• Organization - represents an agency that administers services
• Location - represents a physical site or address that may provide services

The data can be accessed through a FHIR API. See this page for more information around using a FHIR REST API.

The Health Services Hub maintains libraries of CodeableConcepts that can be used to categorize resources. These categories, as well as other metadata, can be used in the Search API to find and filter services, locations, and organizations.

Bulk Data Management

The platform natively supports the ability to export bulk data through the use of the FHIR $export operation. The platform also supports bulk data backloading and exporting via CSV files, although this will need to be configured on a case-by-case basis.
